GHIC Story

Located in Houston, Texas, the Green House International Church (GHIC) was founded by Pastor Eddie Andre’ Deckard and Co-Pastor Sandra D. Deckard on August 12, 2007. Pastor E. A. Deckard begin seeking the Lord for directions and the Spirit of the Lord responded with “a place where everything grows” and after a period of continued prayer and fasting the Green House International Church vision was birthed.

Pastor Deckard begin to hold vision casting sessions in homes across the city of Houston and people begin to show up and caught the vision and over 150 people showed up for the inaugural service and since then over 450 members have been added to a place where everything grows.

GHIC has become a leader in the community by providing simple, practical teaching and understanding of the Bible. Pastor Deckard’s teaching style has allowed people from all walks of life to find answers to life’s challenging questions.

The ministry continues to grow and as the G-House approaches the 4 year mark in August 2011 they are aggressively seeking to acquire land, build new facilities, and add additional services to meet the needs of the people.
